Job Title: Service Desk Technician

Introduction: Join our dynamic IT team as a Service Desk Technician and play a crucial role in resolving business user IT issues. You will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripherals. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • User Support: Provide outstanding customer service to our internal employees. Address Tier I service requests/trouble tickets and troubleshoot PC, printer, and mobile device issues. Perform root-cause analysis to avoid recurring problems.
  • Remote Worker Support: Provide on-site and remote support for the organization nationally.
  • Hardware Management: Oversee the installation, upgrading, and replacement of computer parts, maintaining thorough documentation and an accurate asset inventory. PC deployment and decommissioning.
  • Service Level Agreements (SLA): Meet and exceed SLA standards by addressing and closing tickets promptly while maintaining high customer service quality.
  • Account Management: Create and maintain user accounts during onboarding, changes, and terminations.

Required Skills:             

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11 operating systems and familiarity with iPhone device management.
  • Knowledge of IT ticketing systems and remote access tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • At least one year of experience in a technical support role.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
  • Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer technology or relevant professional experience.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Capable of physical tasks such as lifting to 45 lbs. and traveling between remote locations with a valid driver’s license.
