Environmental Technician

EnviroTrac Ltd. is a full-service environmental consulting and engineering firm with offices located in MA, NY, CT, NJ, PA, VA, WV, OH, MI, NC, GA and FL. EnviroTrac Ltd. has extensive experience in Environmental Investigations, Site Assessments, and Remediation for legal, lending, energy, government, and commercial clients. We provide services to meet all aspects of RCRA, CERCLA, USDOT, CAA, CWA, OSHA, state and local regulations.

We are seeking an entry-level Environmental Technician with 1-4 years of experience. This is a full-time position with benefits in the Syracuse, NY area.  Duties include, but are not limited to:

Skills we are looking for but are not limited to include:

• Groundwater monitoring
• Well Sampling
• Soil Sampling
• Collect, record, and tabulate field data
• System Operation and Maintenance
• UST Removal Oversight
• Concrete sidewalk repairs

Skills and Qualifications we are looking for include:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Team player as well as the ability to work independently at times
• Self- motivated
• Fast learner
• Ability to work with hand tools
• Ability to lift and manipulate 50 lbs.
• Ability to take and comply with directions/instructions
• Strong communication skills

Additional Qualifications/Certifications that are a plus:

• 40 hour OSHA Hazwoper
• Small Equipment Operator
• CDL
