Burlington, New Jersey – Over the summer and into early fall EnviroTrac was involved in the largest excavation project in our almost 20 year history. Approximately 40,000 tons of impacted material was excavated to make way for a brand new natural gas power plant to be built in Newark, NJ. EnviroTrac Ltd. recently completed remedial activities at an Inactive Hazardous Waste Site located in Freeport New York under the State Superfund Program. The Site was formerly occupied by a metal finishing company that manufactured nameplates, instrument panels, rulers and other metal plated products. The primary contaminants of concern included chromium, copper, nickel, zinc and chlorinated volatile organic compounds.
