Mid & Project Manager Level Environmental Scientists

EnviroTrac Ltd., a full service environmental consulting firm with offices located in MA, NY, NJ, PA, MD, VA, WVA, NC, GA, and FL is seeking Mid-level to Project Management level Environmental Scientists for our Burlington, NJ and Ottsville, PA locations. Our privately owned company has 25 years of experience in conducting site characterization/assessment, site inspections and construction oversight, field monitoring and sampling, and remediation for energy, legal, lending, real estate and commercial clients. We provide professional consulting and hands-on services to meet all of our client needs in the oil & gas, local & state government, commercial and industrial markets. Mid-level Environmental Scientist candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in environmental science, geology, engineering or related field and 3-5 years of experience. Mid-level responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing and overseeing field inspections per approved engineering drawings or permits (E&S, SPCC) Client communications Environmental site assessments Performing air, soil, and groundwater monitoring/sampling First responder to spill responses Surveying Management and oversight of subcontractors Writing proposals and completing QA/QC on all field documentation Proficient with operation and maintenance on soil and groundwater remediation systems Knowledge of local and state regulations Project Manager level candidates must have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in engineering, geology, or related science discipline with a minimum of 5 years project management experience; Master’s level and OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training are a plus. Project Management duties include but are not limited to: Having strong client relations and business development skills Project budgeting Staff supervision and training Report writing and review Sub-contractor supervisory experience Hands-on experience in geological/hydrogeological investigations Groundwater modeling, fate and transport analyses, multi-media sampling, feasibility testing, remediation system design and installation, and technical report writing The ideal candidate will possess an excellent working knowledge of Pennsylvania’s Brownfield Redevelopment Program - Act 2, Storage Tank Program - Chapter 245/250, and Oil and Gas Program – Chapter 78; general knowledge of Ohio and West Virginia’s regulations a plus The ideal candidates will possess an OSHA 40 hour Health & Safety training at Hazardous Waste sites, API, Safeland, CPR, valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
